Locally, GIRC kicked off in Wrocław on 14/12/2009 by gathering groups of 3-5 students each from reputable Universities located in Katowice, Kraków, Poznań, Szczecin and Wrocław on the presentation of the company: AmRest Holdings SE as a topic of further analysis. On top of that, there is cooperation between the company representative, assigned mentors, CFA Society of Poland and students based on several meetings and interesting discussions. But most significant is the GIRC’s participants examination of the company along with ethical decision making reinforced by professionals, growing of the local talent by the company and reaching greater market scope by sponsors. Achievement of final stage by a team contributes to promotion of a particular University, as well.
GIRC is an excellent opportunity for students to acquaint themselves with professional skills of writing reports, presentation, networking just to mention a few.
